can you become a good student if you are bad at learning and school?

Good teacher, relentless practicing and doing reading/homework to be ahead of your classmates during holidays. But sometimes after you've left school, you can excel far greater than those who were considered smarter than you. It's primarily a matter of being dedicated to being better that's the secret. So while others are playing, you're inside working hard to understand things better and to find a tutor who has the patience to help you.

C's aren't the absolute worst, but my advice is to seek help, that's your first step...not from random people online, but talk to your teachers, spend time with them outside of the classroom on assignments you're struggling on. Go over poor test grades with your teachers. Seek tutoring services, I'm sure your school offers some sort of free academic help program. Seriously evaluate the coursework you're taking and see if you may need to take some remedial classes to catch up.

If all of that doesn't work, maybe you have an undiagnosed learning disability (since you're pretty much passing, this is kinda a last resort type thing), consult any counseling services your school may offer.

I enrolled my son at a tutoring facility when he was in the second grade, a place called the Learning Game. Now they have online games that help kids learn better. I learned how to type that way.

But I think the best thing you can do for yourself is ask for extra help after school. It's free. If something is stumping you, ask your teacher if he or she can explain so you can understand. I did that when I was in 5th grade because I just couldn't comprehend ratios and how to do them.

And most of all, read!!! Read everything you can that interests you. They don't have to be serious books. Just read.

You can, you just have to work hard. A good teacher is always a good option but it doesn't mean you can't learn it yourself. There are a lot of learning techniques which you can easily find on the internet, find the one that suits you the best

Most of the things I learned is by teaching myself. Self-teaching is very important. A good teacher is always plays a big role in your life, but finding one is not very easy. In my case except for a couple of people, I didn't meet anyone I can classify as a good teacher. Teaching is a skill, it's not known to many.

If you can't get one in real life, go for people who run free YouTube tutorials. Experiment with different ones and you may find one who makes things easier for you.
