This is awesome! I feel like it actually depicts multiple people all in one face. I won't comment on who I see in this face, because people lose their minds over certain subjects these days. But this is beautiful!

@William1 Well, although I am not excusing the historic inaccuracy of artists who used their own race as a model.you do have to have someone to sit for you when doing a masterwork...such as the Last Supper, AND I am sure even Leonardo da Vinci was not about to travel to the Holy Land to find models.

I didn't use a real person as a model, because I am not wealthy, but you are correct in your observation that this drawing is a composite.

@4meAndyou I think it's amazing. The fact that you really do not have any sort of political or racial bias that would influence your depiction of how you feel he should look, is what makes it even better.

@William1 You know, I showed this drawing to some people at my local church, and it was so disappointing to me, personally. The most negative comment I remember is, " I KNOW what Jesus looks like and He doesn't look like that." I think what shocked me was the vicious tone of voice. I was challenging the reality of her personal Jesus...and let's face it...every Christian has a personal Jesus...and so does every artist who paints Him or draws Him. Often, people will choose a personal concept that they saw in their childhood. And people REALLY don't like you to mess with that.
