Women with bold voice unattractive?

To start with, I speak boldly and confidentially to anyone and my voice isn't all too sweet or beautiful and no one found it weird until I met some dudes from India. Not all of them but some of them are pretty much very sexist. They body shamed me (even though most of them weren't healthy themselves), I don't smile beautifully like other Indian girls (I am half Indian), commented on how I walk because I walk pretty fast and not graciously and mostly they said I didn't speak in a lady like way.

I was dating a guy at the time and those buffoons heard me talking to him. My bf likes the way I talk except them. They wondered how could he date a woman with such a deep and bold voice.

I met other Indian men before and never I had an unpleasant experience before with them. But I am appalled at some expectations some men keep for their women. 🤦

I work with an indian fellow and he has the worst opinion of women. He calls his wife stupid, and treats her terribly.

@Gentlequill most Indian men are sexists in my opinion. When my mother divorced my father after long years of abuse, many of her relatives cursed her for disobeying her husband. I noticed Indian youtubers target Indian actresses and make troll videos of them for raising their voices. I was furious when several of my Indian friends applauded for a celebrity when he made a sexist remark. That's why I stay cautious of Indian men.

@JBird I don't blame you. It's disgusting with their attitudes. Nobody deserves to be disrespected like that. Now, my brothers in-laws are indian and are some of the sweetest people I have ever met. I guess it's a home training thing.

@Gentlequill yeah, it depends on how they are raised. I am glad my Indian cousins aren't sexist brats.
