My dream 2
Somehow a man end up trapped in a world filled with humanoid monsters that can kill humans in seconds. He was trapped there with his wife and son. While there they heard a rumour about a portal that would allow them to come back to the human world, the portal was in a castle far away and filled with monsters, but it was the only way out. On their way there the man lost his wife and son somehow, I don't know how, all I know is that he gat to the castle alone and he had no idea where his family was. It was dark out and he had to be careful to enter the castle from the front side and cross it until he gat to the back side, he just had a hunch that the portal would be there. After spending some time searching, scared he might be caught, he decided to give up and stop searching, if he made anymore noise they might catch him, he was lucky they hadn't caught him yet, but that was only because most of them were at the front side of the castle. He lost hope, especially because he couldn't see himself being happy even if he were to find the portal without his family. After a day or two, hiding between 4 rooms, he decided to go to other rooms, and lucky he found his wife and son in one of these rooms, somehow they had just arrived at the castle. He took them safely to the place he had been hiding for the past few days. Once they gat there he left his family to continue searching for the portal, he found a secret lock, some stairs that seem to end in a little dark room. He felt like the portal was hidden somewhere in there, so he went back to get his family. On their was to the room, his son mistakenly broke something that made enough noise the alert all the monsters in the castle, and they all came for them. They killed his son and wife. At this point I woke up, I have to say I'm this world it's always dark, it's always night, no sun, no daytime.
Also, physically these monster look somehow humans, but you can tell they are not, they aren't zombies or anything, they are fast and intelligent. They coexist with us in our world, but only like ghost, they can't see us, we can't see them, but we walk among each other, just like in separate dimensions. And the only way to go from one dimension to another is by crossing that portal, but no one has ever done it, not a lot of people knew about the portal, and the few that did never had to use it.
Soon later I went back to sleep and the dream continues, it turns out that, his son, the one that had died, was the only one that survived, his father made a pact with the monster in exchange for his son's life, one of the terms of this pact is that he(the father) can never leave the monster world, even if he went through the portal, he will become part of the monster world for ever. In exchange his son would be allowed to cross the portal, being the first one to actually use the portal. It turns out that his son, now a teenager, tho he escaped and went through the portal, is now half monster and half human, the time he spent in the the monster world rubbed off on him. Something that he had when he transforman that the monsters didn't were wings, like malefica's wings, but all of that, the wings, the vampire teeth, darker skin tone, snake eyes and all were all part of the monster world, so once the crossed the portal we would become human. Since no one else knew about the portal, it was almost as if the portal was his little secret, he can cross and go back when ever he chooses, his is now part of both worlds. He sometimes cross over just to see his father. Sometimes he get attacked but some evil monster from the other world that know he is not totally human. Tho they can't kill him themselves while he is in human world, they can make things move around and try to kill him using that. So sometimes he is forced to cross the portal to fight back.
