If abortion remains legal...

Should a man be able to choose if he WANTS to pay child support or not? HIS wallet HIS choice.

If you don't want to assume the responsibility of being a father and having to pay child support, and so on-- don't have sex with a woman.

@CopperCicada Oh I'm surprised you dint say "just wear a condom" You suggest I stay away from women completely.
@CopperCicada Epic logical advice🌟
@Trustyles I don't care what you do.

Have sex with 1 woman, 10 women, 10,000 women. Wear condoms. Go bareback.

I really don't care.

But if you make a life, you support the child. Ideally be a father as well.

That's a fairly self-evident risk of having sex with women.
@Trustyles The flaw of your ethical argument is become some women-- these, over here-- get abortions, then you feel that should absolve you of your ethical responsibility of being a father with a very specific woman who didn't have an abortion, but who gave birth to your child.

That is about as ethically degenerate as it gets.

@CopperCicada so is having an abortion also degenerate? she would also be absolving herself of responsibility and with no legal consequence.
@Trustyles I think abortion is killing a human.

A fundamental thing about ethics is that it’s personal.

Debra getting an abortion has nothing to do with Steve getting Susan pregnant and not supporting the child.
Trustyles · 31-35, M
@CopperCicada The thing is that Susan has a choice if she wants to support the child,or not. Steve will go to prison if he refuses to support the child, so he has no choice.
@Trustyles OK. Make abortion illegal and then we can have more men responsible for child support,

@CopperCicada The easiest route would be to just give men the choice as well. I am pro choice. Both parties should have a choice though.
