I was so pleased with myself when I ordered a multi-pack of washable/reusable breathable masks that to my mind are pretty good. They're very practical and plain black.

Whenever I see people wearing masks in their selfies though, they always seem to appear stylish of fashionable in design.

Do people actually shop for masks by design and co-ordinate them with their outfits, I wonder?

I also made some in a burgundy maroon color to help match what I'm wearing

@Penny you might open up a seam and insert a couple of layers of coffee filter material..

I make my own following CDC guidelines. I had a lot of fabric left over from the various sewing projects over the years, and I've finally found a use for some of the fabric!

Nancy Pelosi does. ALL her masks match her designer suits. She is clueless in that regard...doesn't realize that matchy matchy went out in the 1980's.

I order masks on Zulily. They are usually washable and breathable, (sometimes not so breathable), and I order patterns with lots of colors. IF something that matches my outfit is clean, I will wear it.

@4meAndyou Yes, it's more or less what I paid them, consider that here we have a crazy 22% VAT tax on everything though 😬
4meAndyou · F
@Elessar I hope they continue to stock them. These are made in the USA so...not made in China, at least.

@4meAndyou Mine are made in Italy ✌️ yes I don't think they'll cease the production anytime soon, at least not before the pandemic is declared over.

I still use the masks I bought back in February,,

My son had to wear a mask while working at camp during the weekdays. I bought a bunch of cloth masks from etsy.

I could probably figure out how to sew them on my own but it was kind of fun to support someone else and get a variety.

I mostly have Cambridge masks because that's what my doctors suggested for my condition before covid ever became a thing.

My husband uses the PPE his workplace supplies.

Most masks are only marginally helpful.
The W.H.O says that non N95 common masks are less than 11 percent effective at stopping transmission..
@SW-User But in countries where everyone is using even the cloth masks, there are fewer instances of transmission. So it’s doing something.

I use a bandana/buff. I have a spare mask in my bag as well and I get a disposable mask everyday at work.

@Beatbox34
Studies show that a bandana is about worthless..

I found all remains of 100% cotton fabrics at home and picked patterns I liked the most.
It's a very special type, it's called "the cheapest on Ebay"
I have disposable ones in my car and was just handed 5 KN95’s for work.

The mask makes no difference to the spread of Covid19 it is just a Government aspect to make the population kiss there ass.
I have basic black, grey and some blue tie-dye masks. I don’t go out that often.
