I Have a Warning For You

Please note it has been pointed out to me that any pictures you send by private message to another on here can also be found by anyone else searching google. Not sure how it's done, but if you do send any photo's to a friend I would suggest they be totally anonymous and non raunchy " for want of a better word ".
The example I was given was to right click on any private message photo and click “search for image on google” sure enough it’s on google.
So much for private messaging !
UPDATE ! The answer is to delete from the message and it's then deleted from google. I've just tried it !!!!!

I just tried it, some pics are showing up on google, some are not...I can only conclude that the ones showing up on google are more than likely downloaded from another website...maybe?

if you couldn't be identified would it be so bad? if you have no exhibitionistic tendencies, I am not trying to lead you into such @jadenightbird:

@samueltyler2: exhibitionist is not me lol btw thank you for your post :)

my pleasure, most of the people worried about their photos on here have some degree of nudity. any of my nudes which I may have shared have no identifiers

Would they still show up if you delete them from your private album? Since it automatically deletes the image from any post I assume it does the same with messages, so it would no longer be hosted on the site. Just playing devil's advocate. I don't know how this works.
@pinkrainbowkisses: i just did but didn't work :c anyways, thank you

@roslvsyou: It takes a good few mins to delete them after you log out then back in. On the " lighter side " I guess the site might be busy with delete requests at this time.
@roslvsyou: Check your album to make sure it's not in there several times. If that doesn't work then I have no idea.. it's supposed to delete it everywhere.

I think, "google correlation algorithm" correlates that image and brought up all the s similar images. The tool works for all other images in same way. If the person have images on web, it will be match and brought up. Anyway, its never safe to share images on web specially for women.

Or if you've posted it on another website.. that's why I only use my avatar pic here so I can't be traced back to my fb. I googled someones avatar and all her snapchat pics came up.

tolerantmongoose I hope that is the case, but why is it a personal picture is found on google when you right click on the picture " search for image on google " ?
Nothings private.. people don't realize that. Google knows it all.

@tolerantmongoose: Hmmm I guess Google lies on their TOS.

i can no longer dlt or edit a msg :c
manslip · 70-79, M
@roslvsyou: You can delete any photo in a message that you have sent by removing it from your photo album. Please note however that's it gone unless you copied it to a personal file on your PC.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
If you log off of SW and search, you will not find it on Google, if you are logged into SW you will seem to find it.

@samueltyler2
Thank you. I don't know why SW assumes you want to create an album anyway. I've noticed that once it builds up over a few pages it becomes slow to search, and I was going to prune mine anyway.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
The big problem is that when I upload photos, I can't send them initially to a private album. So there is a time when photos I don't really wish to share with everyone, is available to everyone. So it is then a 2 step process. First upload to an album, then move to a private one, me only.

Can we have a definite answer from SW's administrators? If this hasn't already been done. (I note the publication dates above.)

ooops I have a few
doodatt · 61-69, M
I've just tried that and can't see the search google command
manslip · 70-79, M
@doodatt Maybe that has been removed I will try and check.
manslip · 70-79, M
Still there, but only on any you have sent IE go to messages and right click on any pic it should say search for image on google.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
I have tried to find any on the net, failed. Perhaps some choose certain ones.
Thank you for the heads up. I don’t send “inappropriate” photos but I know selfies have ended up on Google Images from this site. I didn’t realize PMs could, too.
