I Believe You Become Wise With Experience

Do you consider President Trump a wise man?

We all know he is a genius and has a high IQ but is he wise?
sarabee1995 · 26-30, F
I think wisdom comes with age & experience when combined with a knowledge-seeking, open mind.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@sarabee1995 He’s old, he has experience and I suppose he seeks knowledge. I’m not sure about the open mind tho.

@SimplyTracie 🤷‍♀️
Wise won't be the first superlative coming to mind, no.

A wise man doesn’t act like he knows everything
DallasCowboysFan · 61-69, M
Yes, he is very successful and he knows how to negotiate.
He has learned these skills from several decades in the real estate industry, as well as his other ventures.

He is a very smart man. He has some personal shortcomings, but that does not diminish what he has learned and achieved on his own.

@SimplyTracie Wisdom comes from life experiences and observations of life.
You can be illiterate but still be wise.
But Trump has gained a lot of wisdom....and street smarts..... from his business ventures and personal experiences.

@MarkPaul Trump inherited about 30MN from his father but he took that 30MN and made billions selling high-end condos and building first class hotels around the world. He employs tens of thousands of people that would otherwise not have a job.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@DallasCowboysFan So, that's the general idea from the Baby-trump playbook and propaganda manual, but if you do any checking on your own you will find not paying taxes, declaring multiple bankruptcies, lying about his wealth, and getting bailed out by his father for his blunders on top of what he borrowed and inherited led to his financial success. A moron without a brain would be able to make billions with those kind of advantages.
He has what he thinks is street smarts and savy. That is not the same as wisdom. Solomon he is not.
I was responding to the group name - I don't know that I would label him wise, but he is savvy, which in some circumstances is about as good, maybe better in some.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@Mamapolo2016 Shrewd as in Smoooth? He tries. 😝
@SimplyTracie Shrewd is more like a horse trader - who are notorious for being good at wheeling and dealing and coming out on top. I think he's shrewd.

There are worse things a President can be, but he tries to display those at every opportunity.

Unlike most of the country, I think balance is important, especially from administration to administration. There's a reason why we rarely have more than 8-12 years of one party's President.

That's my take on it.
@SimplyTracie President Trump is as smooth as a bull in a china shop. I don't think that is always bad.

😾never, ego= 1/wisdom
vetguy1991 · 51-55, M
He knows many things but not all things
vetguy1991 · 51-55, M
@SimplyTracie I hope so
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@vetguy1991 No doubt in my mind. 😊

@AgapeLove Oh okay
carsonfry · 22-25, M
I think he has proved that he is all of that. Sometimes it takes one to know one.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@carsonfry He is a wise man I’m your opinion?
Define wisdom.
Name two other men you consider men of wisdom.

Please.
carsonfry · 22-25, M
Myself and Trump. He knows what he is doing. He is saving America. He is not obligated to the government establishment. He is representing the American public and doing the best he can in their interest, not the interest of the government establishment.

The USA was founded on the breakup of government overreach. It was founded on subjects that where fed up with the overbearing control of government.

That is why the founders of the USA left England in search of peace, love of God, and freedom from a tyrannical government.

Now we find our government doing the same things we ran away from. Making the elected officials greater than us.

The USA was founded on the average person representing those persons living around him. And they did it for free.

Now we are represented by people that do not listen to us, do not make decisions on our behalf, and are more interested in securing their government paycheck than what is what is correct.

This is not the America as it was founded.

Trump knows this and he is trying to take it back, and he is doing it the old school way. For free. He is working for free to represent the American people.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@carsonfry All that and you haven’t even answered my question. Shameful. 😝

He has business know how -
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@MarmeeMarch I don’t feel you’re answering my question tho. Unless we define wisdom differently. I asked the question to get different opinions as I do not consider him to be a wise man.
@SimplyTracie wise to me means - all knowing and he is not all knowing so I guess is is a partial wise man -
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@MarmeeMarch Hahahah 😝
Okay, I will accept that from you. Thank you.
If experience does it ...
@SimplyTracie Absolutely not. Many of us end life as unaware as we began it.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@Mamapolo2016 Jeez. I should start working on it early. I don’t wanna end up foolish, ignorant, stupid, unintelligent, unreasonable and unwise. That would be really bad.
@SimplyTracie You already started. Asking questions and listening is a great start.
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
[c=#7700B2]yeah pretty much[/c]
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@PlumBerries Okay.

I should have done a poll. Dang!
