I remember that Christmas alone, trying to talk to the catering staff who wanted to be at home. Elsewhere my family were doing family things with my ex's family. Going to the gym to work out and I thought that made me nails but really on Christmas day it was all I had.

@Jenni855 I know this would be scary but what if you said to her "you know you asked about my birthday, well I'm not doing anything so would you like to go out for dinner?"
That way you know one way or the other if she's asking because she likes you and wants to spend your birthday with you or she's being nosey or she's just a bitch.
If she starts to say no, say don't worry about it and you know one way or the other. You loose nothing if she says no and gain more definitive clarity that she's nosey or a bitch. If she says yes then you may gain a friend you didn't expect.
