How could you? With your strong marriage to your soulmate, clever and cute kid, nice house, great job and amazing social life, how could I ever expect you to relate?
Please stop asking me what plans I have for my birthday. The answer is, very little. Now leave it be and move on. Not everyone has huge birthday celebrations like you.
You don't understand what it is to be me. It isn't your fault entirely but all you have ever known is success, personally and professionally. It isn't like that for me. You don't know what it's like to be 32, single, childless, living at home, dealing with a mentally ill sister and what it is like to feel so lonely and scared of the future that as soon as the lights go out at night, you just sob. So please, for just one moment, get your head out of your own backside and realise that not everyone leads such a charmed life as you do.
