When did your gut instinct prove to be correct?

My gut instinct only activates when I sense something is truly wrong with someone. For example, when I was in process of joining a new church, I knew I did NOT want to be around a certain person. She made me feel as though she was hostile and I couldn't figure out why she would be hostile. Later on, I found out she is bi-polar.
