I Have Been Beaten Up

I've been in fights at school, pretty much over who I hung around with...

My bestie, Amber, would get taunted as her mum was a hooker, and so was her sister. Initially I would try to stick up for her but just get pushed around....

The taunting got pretty bad for Amber so she learned self-defence and sorted out the bullies....however, guilt by association dictated that I got hit about a little too as those that couldn't get to Amber could get to me....

Then Amber started sticking up for me too.....

In later life, I became a hooker and got with a Madame. All was fairly well until, 5 years down the line I was punched, kicked and generally degraded by this individual just for speaking out of line.

It scared me. It embarrassed me.....and, true to previous form, my bestie came to protect me....

I hate fighting....psychologically it still scars me....scares me even....but I won't let it beat me....at
