I Have Never Been In a Relationship

One of the dating apps I use just got an update, technically making it 18+. However, users under 18 are still able to use it, but literally can't view other users' profiles that are also under 18.
So although I'm turning 18 myself in less than a month I'm basically forced to connect only with people older than me. Opinions?
