This may be slightly unrelated, but have you ever watched Dr. Gunther von Hagens?

No, who is he and where do you see him?

@samueltyler2: I watched him on YouTube. I don't know what his title is exactly, but he provides some great anatomy lessons, including autopsies. He's very knowledgeable. You have to check him out!

Just did. He is very controversial to say the least. Have you read about the Chinese exhibit of cadavers? Also very "educational" but also very controversial. I have considered "volunteering" my body while alive, to allow students to learn physical examination by using me as a volunteer patient. I have enough abnormalities and the knowledge of how to teach them to find and appreciate them. Those who donate, willingly, their bodies for dissection afterbthier death do a great service. Unfortunately anatomy is now a very small part of medical education!

@samueltyler2: It's fascinating. My father-in-law has decided to donate his body to the Body Farm in Knoxville, TN. I'll check out the Chinese exhibit. Thanks!

That is really generous. They use bodies to teach forensic investigation. So cool. How old is he?

@samueltyler2: I think he's 74, give or take a few.

My age! What a coincidence!
