I Am Never Comfortable In Social Situations

I feel like I'm a social chameleon. I just say what's supposed to be said, feel how I'm supposed to feel. I react to my environment based on the criteria, and not based on my inner self. I think sometimes I'm afraid to show my true colors because of how that's worked out for me in the past...
But is avoiding conflict and ridicule really worth being a different person to every other person I talk to? It's so exhausting...

But I forgot, everyone's just here to have fun. Sorry to infect your feed with something real

Its not that easy (especially coming from me but) being yourself is usually the easier option. In the moment changing yourself brings instant gratification (approval from those around) but later when your by yourself is when it starts taking from you.

Dont wear yourself out!
