I Got The Cane In School 6 Of The Best

When I was in 5th form I was caught smoking with my older sister and her friend, who were both in 6th form. All three of us got 6 of the best together off the deputy headmistress.

Students who were caught smoking were always punished in my school too.

@Codrin I think that was pretty much the case in most schools. My wife was caned for smoking when she was at school and other friends, of both sexes, who attended different schools in various parts of the country, have said it was the same at their schools.

@NortiusMaximus Let's admit however that CPs for smoking were not effective in all cases. We continued to smoke hopping we'd not be caught 😀

@Codrin I agree. It was almost totally ineffective. All the smokers I knew at school carried on after being caned. Some of us were caned more than once for it, including both my sisters, my wife, and me.

@NortiusMaximus @Codrin That's right. I was caned a few times for smoking, including in 6th form. Most of the smokers I knew at school were. My husband was caned three times at his school for smoking.

@Codrin Same here. Being caught smoking was almost an automatic caning. Some teachers would turn a blind eye to 6th formers smoking if we were reasonably discreet about it but I was caned when I was seen smoking on the way to school.
