What penalties are handed out to Business Fraudsters?
Refresh my memory please, after the washout of the GFC did any of the Business leaders do jail time?
Where there any token imprisonments or scapegoats penalised? For too many years, and still very prevalent today, big business has been committing fraud and getting away with it.
Very few individuals are held to account.
There should be mandatory prison terms for those who knowingly steal from their customers.
Also, their assets should be taken from them, including the home, shares and any other possessions.
Harsh? Not from where I am sitting. Fraud committed over many years means everything they purchased was done through money fleeced from the innocent public.
