I Am 50 Something

I an still in disbelief that I am 50 years old. It's just mind boggling when I think about the fact I've been alive for half a century. Internally I don't feel any older than I did in my teens and twenties....my body on the other hand has other ideas. I notice a few more aches and pains than I used to, and It is a little more difficult to do some things that I used to do with ease. Then there is all of the people who were just infants, toddlers, and little kids when I was in school...I see them now grown up with careers and families of their own...mind blowing. The 70's and 80's are still fresh in my mind, yet seem so long ago at the same time. I'm starting new decade, a whole new era of my life (I'll be 51 in April) and we'll see what this one holds.😉
