I Am The Black Sheep

I'm just a bit different, but I suppose it would be weird to say that I'm the black sheep of a family of black sheep. My parents were the black sheep to theirs, as I am to mine. We're all 'unique', but I suppose I'm insane. I want to accomplish goals they believe useless. I want to become something great. They of course approve of me studying for science, but they don't approve of all the detours I've set out for myself. But what is life without a few distractions ;)

I feel ya (not in that way! Well, not yet at least... ;) )! My mind says "Accountancy! Easy money! You like maths! DO IT!!" whereas my heart goes "Movies! Make them, watch them, critique them, I dont care, just do something with them!" Ive come to a temporary plan for compromise, which is to be an accountant for several years until i can afford a movie-related midlife crisis! :)

I think so! Admittedly, most people i tell it to laugh, assuming im joking, then look bewildered when i tell them im serious(ish. Which is as serious as i am about anything that isnt related to unnecessary suffering. I feel very strongly about that!). What kind of book do you want to write? Fiction or a memoir perhaps?

True! The distractions can often lead to the best bits of life, and the detours can potentially become your true goal that you just didnt realise before. :)
What goals do you want to achieve then?

I want to write fiction, but I want to write in a way that the characters seem real. I've a heard a good plan for that is to write in the way you think, making characters a reflection of yourself with real flaws. I have a few ideas for the book but still organizing a few details. And quite frankly, I do believe you can accomplish your goals :D

lots of things, I do want to become a virologist because I love viruses, but I also love writing. So I at least want to write a book, and draw a masterpiece of my own. My heart is in the arts while my future is in the science. i already know this, I'm just trying to make the puzzle pieces fit, you know
