I’m not surprised at all. I just left a job and had a manager who was gay, screamed about his rights and yet threw all applicants of color out the door...people are jacked up anymore.

@Keepitsimple I worked almost 30 years as a preschool teacher. I definitely saw applicants come through the door who were otherwise qualified, but excluded for being a certain weight, male, too old, etc. However, management always found some other diplomatic reason for the decline. There is nothing more right about that per se, but I always thought it was done to protect the rights of the employer. If this were a corporate ad, couldn't it translate to a lawsuit?
