This add appeared in my jobs available care.com daily email.
I've got plenty of feelings about it, but I'd like to hear yours first.

If it was listed in an opposite way, "looking for a white person to hang out with our Caucasian child", I wonder how it would be received. I would consider both examples to be discriminatory. Whether the request comes from a place of racism can't really be determined from this ad.

@Bubbles If you can afford a nanny, then you should be able to afford a lawyer to look over an ad to ensure that it does not contravene local labour laws and the your human rights code.

@Bubbles it's a private sector ad, maybe the rules are different. It is not a job I was thinking of applying for, but because I was disqualified, I feel discriminated against! This hasn't happened to me very often, it's an interesting experience.
