I Hate All Forms Of Racism

This add appeared in my jobs available care.com daily email.
I've got plenty of feelings about it, but I'd like to hear yours first.

It’s a preference. No different than a black person preferring a black doctor or a teacher. And visa versa. It’s not racist at all. They probably would feel more comfortable from a cultural standpoint. Nothing wrong with that.

@NaturalBeautyQueen it seems like a more appropriate interview topic then the heading for a public ad. The implication could be no matter what I bring to the table, I can't qualify if I'm the wrong color. If that's the case, i'm thinking care.com should've help them reword the ad at least.

@Splendida perhaps wording it better would’ve done some good. But at the end of the day, choose your battles. Either you can answer the ad or let it go and keep it moving. You could always ask them to elaborate.
