How can I make my girlfriend feel better ?

One of my girlfriends friends passed away yesterday from a heart attack. We still have no idea what he was doing to have one he's a lot older than us but he was also a police officer and a really good friend too. Everyone is pretty upset about it especially since it happened on Thanksgiving. How can I help her feel better ?

Death is loss, to most people. You can't fix this, even though that's what guys like to think they can do. She has to pass through the stages of grief. The only thing you can do is tell her you are sorry, hug her when she seems distraught, and listen if she wants to talk.
