I Am Sober

Sober 21 months off black tar. It’s the best decision I’ve ever made. Had I gone any further I would’ve died, no doubt.
I want it constantly. Heroin is the first thing I want in the morning and the last thing that crosses my mind at night and I’m aware it’ll be that way for the rest of my life.
But I’ve made it 21 months. It’s the longest I’ve ever gone sober and there’s no end in sight x

Fierce hug. You are the champion. You are holding the reins to your life again. Keep it firmly in mind how awful it was to be a passenger in your own body and that substances change nothing. They only briefly obscure them and then make them worse.
