I Wear Glasses

@samueltyler2 What is your current distance visual acuity?

@Fauxmyope2 I had cataract surgery. I would be 20/20 but for my astigmatism. That means still wear glasses to read, play music and to play golf. I have glasses for each skill. I have non-polarized sunglasses tomusevwhen I do outside photography. It wasnt easy to get them, everyone insisted on using polarized lenses. The problem is that the screen on the camera, or cell phone for that matter, goes black.

@samueltyler2 Are you required to wear glasses to drive?

@Fauxmyope2 no, I can pass an eye exam. When i took my physical fir the Navy, I confused the corpsman when i took off my glasses for the test. I really find wearing goasses a real handicap some days. I sometimes have to fool with my assortment to see which works best for what I am doing.

@samueltyler2 As you know, eyesight fascinates me. If I wasn’t a teacher, I think that I would have enjoyed the medical profession, like my sister, and become an opthalmologist.

@Fauxmyope2 why is it so fascinating?

@samueltyler2 I think that it is because I always envied my friends that wore glasses in MS, HS, and undergrad.
