I Have Family Issues

It’s not the typical divorce complicated family. It’s more like people who married in with kids are dating within the family and telling me about it because I for some reason am trusted. I don’t like knowing the things but here we are

It does sound complicated. I married in to a family with extremely complicated connections, as well. The ex's mother's brother, for example, married the ex's half step-sister, who was a daughter of the ex's mother's 1st husband from his previous marriage....and the ex was not his son at all, was illegitimate, but was raised believing he was the natural son of his mother's 1st husband.

The upshot was, the ex didn't know whether to call his Aunt his sister.

It sounds like you're doing good service to the people in your family or community, it is important to have at least one person that you can tell anything to and know that it won't go further..

@Cow1919 maybe demand is the wrong word, consider parameter or envelope. If you want X you must agree to y.
There is no sin in any way to offering conditions to your help.
Otherwise, you stand to suddenly reap whatever ill conditions result from someone else's problems. Be the good listener, keep the secret to yourself. And be satisfied that at least you're not standing around doing nothing. I like the term used by doctors, and lawyers, client confidentiality.
I understand your desire not to make demands. But if we allow anyone and everyone to abuse our goodnatures, then we will ultimately do them no good and only harm to ourselves.

Okay what does cousins sleeping with cousins got to do with you? Sorry why would you want to stir up stuff? And do you know fact they are sleeping around hearsay is not fact that will only turn people against you.

@Cow1919 I am sorry to hear that but these people are adults right so what they choose to do is there business. Unless these people are married but even still it take two to sleep together.

@updown2020 actually most of us are teenagers and only one of us is considered an adult and by sleeping around I mean mainly inside the relationships and things going on outside of it
