I Don't Believe Soldiers Are Heroes
Soldiers are the least interesting serial killers. If you're about to lose your dignity by killing someone, at least make it impressive.

It is a healthy discussion to always reevaluate the role of armies and what is ethical. I believe in the honour of our armed forces but I also must always understand that they are killers and people with human weakness. We should never be so patriotic or admiring of any institution that we cannot question their role. In my view.

That being said, I am proud of Canada's role in Normandy and their role in liberating Europe from Hitler. But war to me is a total failure of civilization. @DarkHeaven
