I Don't Believe Soldiers Are Heroes

Just To Add To This...
thought i'd might as well make a story about it considering its just getting filled with crap.
the point of this group was orginally that people who join the military aren't automaticly heros. you have to earn it first, soldiers have dont terrible things and good things. some do both. as well as that, you could say that a hero of one place is a criminal and a villian in another place.
the government starts wars to further there own intresets for themselves.

lalaninjacakes... don't assume you know what people think about this issue. And don't assume that just because you can point out a few moral dilemmas you can shake the resolve of people with contrary interests.

You don't see me popping over to the 'wives and girlfriends of military' whatever group to slag them off for having a different opinion to me do you? I don't pop over there and tell them that modern warfare the 'push button' war, makes their beloved boyfriends safer than ever and also at the same time probably capable of indescribable horrors. Nope, Because despite their different opinion, I've respected their 'space'. I've left their group alone.

Get off the self righteous horse please.

In fact, this is for everyone out there who wants to convert those who refuse to accept 'soldier' and 'hero' as meaning the same thing. Its a personal choice. And we're welcome to it. This freedom of speech that you think the military ((pffft)) fights for is being undermined by your closed minded bigotry.

Nobody ever said that there weren't heroic soldiers. We're just making a space where we can vent the idea that not all soldiers are heroes. And you have to do something heroic to be a hero.

Who would fight wars if there weren't soldiers?? Hate the war support the troops?? That's like saying guns are bad, but bullets are ok.
