I Am Tired of America

US Business Roundtable group has sent a letter to the leaders of the 28 EU countries warning they of a 'grievous self-inflicted' wound if the sanctions imposed on Apple for tax avoidance are not overturned.

And then some still say that the enemy for Europe is Russia 😆

All of those EU nations are starved for cash and their eyes have fallen on Apple, because they have followed the capitalism model and are flush with cash, rather than the socialist one the EU is trying out and now they are broke...

EU just wants Apple to follow the rules and pay the taxes they should. It is not an attack against America, but against a firm that is robbing European taxpayers

The EU countries are competing with one another to attract jobs. That's not what the EU framers had in mind. Perhaps the argument is with Ireland not Apple. However I do agree Apple took advantage.

Ireland should be punished in some way too. Their practice of setting lower taxes on corporations is unfair to the rest of EU countries. But tax avoidance in a such profitable corporation must not be allowed.

Multinational companies will always look for the best locations to minimize their tax burden. Hard to blame them. The EU needs to handle their own issues internally

Ya apple sucks. Selling.product that intentionally lie about destorying the environment. Wait that was vw.

Or how our oil companies to the worst job at fixing oil spills. Wait nvm, not us again.

Maybe its because we flip the bull for half of Europes military spending?

If American companies invest in Europe are not do any favour, but because they get a profit. You get a profit, you pay taxes, that's how the system works for everybody, and that includes Americans

Why are you bothered? Ireland said Apple paid what was due .
FreeSpirit1 · 51-55, F
It,s still between The EU and Ireland.
Apple paid what Ireland said.....What company would pay more?
Cierzo · M
@ImAFreeSpirit: EU said Apple should pay more to Ireland. So far Ireland is in the EU and corporations operating there should adjust to EU regulations. If Apple does not agree with them, they should look for a different country to operate from.

And that is what they will do.
Oh..just leave already 😒
