@SatyrService I'm diagnosed ASPD (sociopathy). Much like all Humans, there are morons and there are non-morons. Most are not morons. Ben Affleck in The Accountant was actually one of the best Hollywood examples of ASPD or High-Functioning Autism (which I'm also diagnosed with) that I've ever seen. Clearly did their homework.

Being a sociopath doesn't denote cleverness, just a lack of empathy and stunted emotions as well as very clerical, surgical and analytical thinking.

Sociopaths are intelligent but their perception of reality usually has some aspects that show a disconnect from from their emotions.

@Sapio As a man with this diagnosis I feel rather confident in stating not all ASPD-diagnosed individuals are intelligent, I've met some morons, as with any group of people...but I'll agree that there is a higher IQ associated with those with ASPD. The smartest computer doesn't feel. It thinks. It's not very intelligent to base actions, decisions and assessments around feelings.
Besides, what fucking fun would it be to have a high intellect if your feelings got in the way of an otherwise clear and present mind?
