I Believe In Karma

Making Choices

It will be very hard to decide what is right and what is wrong if you don’t believe or if you don’t understand karma. Without the understanding of karma, if you have to make a choice then you will have another reason to choose. I can guarantee that without understanding and a belief of karma your choice will be, ‘what I want, this is good for me, this is the smartest thing to do.’ Your reason for choosing one thing from another will be totally according to your belief. If your belief is karma, then you can make the right choice according to karma. But if you don’t believe in karma then you make the right choice not according to karma; and in that case what would it be? I think ninety-nine percent of the time it would probably be ‘what I want.’ Nobody wants displeasure, everybody wants pleasure. That way you might push your way to success – money, power and fun, these three will be the reasons for choosing something over something else. Maybe there are other things but this will pretty much be it.
