We decluttered and my kids got most of the clocks. We still have a mantel clock.

I have six mechanical mantel clocks, one mechanical wall clock, one antique carriage clock, and multiple mechanical alarm/travel clocks and wrist watches

the ticking noise was so bad in our house that we stopped winding them. I had a ship's clock from my Navy tour, that was really bad.
