My Mum was born in the northern city of Hirosaki, in Aomori Prefecture. She is actually descended from the famous family Hirosaki who built the city, and various other places.
She met my father when he was working in Japan, on the northern coast in the city of Aomori. Their romance was a whirlwind, and the kami favoured a marriage.
