Ich denke viel über meine eigene Geschichte nach

History was a favourite subject when I was at school, and as I reflect I have been thinking that I very much have my own history to relate that in time might tell a young woman's point of view of our tumultuous times.

My history teacher was a man, Dr Sepp Kofler, who I suppose was in his forties maybe when he taught us. He was very much obsessed with dates, and his idea of what has globally been called the Victorian era was quite profound. His favourite era was the early Middle Ages when there was a culture of Troubadours in southern Europe.

Dr Kofler was inspirational in that regards because I have had an obsession with my patron saint, Chiara of Assisi, and with Saint Francis (Francesco) for a long time, (well all my life really because Saint Clare is my patron saint since I was born on the anniversary of get sainthood) and he gave me so much background to consider. This has helped me immensely in the personal level!

Writing my own history might be easy enough from my journals, but I would need to have a theme to my book/story to keep it readable or interesting to any readers I might find!

My memories are likely to figure in my future decisions, now I am looking forward to my post university years.
