I Love Pigs

They're widely considered to be these dumb, filthy beasts, so much that some religious practices forbid eating meat from that animal, but pigs are actually very misunderstood creatures. They're highly intelligent animals, some of the smartest on the planet! Yes, they're infamous for rolling around in mud but they do so to thermoregulate and protect themselves from the Sun. Call them filthy if you will but they are far from being dumb.

They also do not eat near where they deficate unless you enclose them to the point where they are forced to. Long before pigs were true pets I had them as pets. They lived on my parents' farm and we used to play with them like dogs. I had one named Charlotte that played fetch with a ball. She would roll it all the way back to you with her snout. She loved eating out of your hand too. She had a little dog house in the corner of my dad's field and when she saw the school bus she would come running to play. I had ducks, chickens. Horses, and cows that were pets too. And rabbits, goats and a really stupid Turkey and sheep too.
