I Have a Difficult Decision to Make

Right, I'm hoping you good people can help here. I've just got in trouble today for setting fire to the grill (and half the kitchen) because I was messing around on my phone instead of keeping an eye on the lamb chops. I've ended up being grounded for 10 days (which is a story in itself, for anyone who knows me!)

Anyway, I've got a steaming hot date on Friday, and I can't be grounded and miss out. So I have a cunning plan. I could plead with my parents to let me out, in exchange for surrendering my phone. But what they don't know is I have a spare, old phone that this SIM card fits. So all I need to do is remove the SIM card before surrendering it.

What would you do? Accept the grounding and miss out on Friday? Or be sneaky and surrender my phone. The only negative, is if I get caught out with the old phone, I'll probably be killed, then brought back to life to be killed again!

You should be impeached and forced to pay for the kitchen restoration.

@MarkPaul It was just smoke, which I've scrubbed and cleaned. You'd never know it had happened now.

@KatyB But, you were reckless and negligent. Do you really think you should just get away with it?
KatyB · F
@MarkPaul Well no, but that's why I'm saying I'll 'surrender' my phone, cos that's the worst punishment, any day of the week for me. But like I say, it really isn't now, not when I've got a spare hidden away.

@KatyB So, you will subject yourself to the worst punishment possible... and then cheat your way out of it? 🧐

@MarkPaul Yeah 💁🏻

@KatyB I suggest you tell your parents to plan for the certainty you will be living them for decades, possibly forever, because you won't ever have the capacity to be responsible on your own. 👨‍⚖️

@MarkPaul I can think for myself, and am cunning enough to come up with a plan like this at 15, so your opinion actually means jack shit to me! 🖕

@KatyB He's the one that will probably be living with his parents till he is 50!😂
