I Have An Ex Boyfriend Who Is Still In Love With Me

My ex boyfriend decided to travel long way to see me as a surprise so he insists on saying . We got in touch after one year due to the corona virus as he said he was worried about me and thinking of me. Two weeks into chatting ( every other day) bam...he is here and in isolation (14 days by law) so far it's been 4 days, I haven't seen him. I don't want to see him as I know what's gonna happen. But he came a such long way.. I just know that when I see him especially now we will get back together but I am enjoying my freedom. What do I do? It's stressing me out😔 I don't have the heart to say turn back, go away, but I really wish he didn't come. I dont want to see him in person and of course he wants to live with me after his isolation...what do I do? What do I say to him? Or should I just see him and see how it goes .

@Orlbe I was in a similar situation before as I still had feelings for my ex. He came all the way for you. Even if you don't have any feelings towards him maybe you guys could hang out as friends for a couple of days and talk about it.

@SW-User I don't trust myself. He is sounding so sweet . We haven't talked about the past. When he got in contact it was nice to hear from him. I am not mad at him anymore...we just talked about the virus how we've been etc.. superficial stuff...he says he loves me still.. that he does and always said that. I am the one who ended the relationshipbecause I was just miserable back then..it hurt alot

@Orlbe Yes. As I told you he's trying to make an effort to be with you. Most of the guys don't do that. You can be mean and ignore him more but you might regret your decisions later in your life. He's still in love with you and it's hard for him to move on even after a year. I'm sure there are some feelings left in you for him too. So please keep whatever differences you had before aside and talk about what you both want.

It ended fast. I run away , cut him off, we spoke few months after and saw each other..we always had good times and best friends like but when he was mean, it hurt a lot.. I resented him for longtime. Now I am not mad. Don't feel anything but I know when I see him all will come back. I did love him. He always said he will never give up and said he went to see counselling after we broke up to better himself

One side feels excited and what can be, what would be..and I am lonely 🤪 saw his pics and he looks...hot is understatement 🙈 we just haven't touched the break up subject...I feel violated that he didn't let me know he was coming but when we talked before he came he asked me if I missed him and I said sometimes

@Orlbe I’ve been in this situation. Don’t ignore your own instincts about it. Someone just turning up and insisting upon staying could be less about love, more about [b]control[/b]. As someone else said, folks are exes for a [b]reason[/b]. If it were the right situation it’s unlikely you’d feel anxious and conflicted about his arrival. Loneliness can make one vulnerable, but don’t worry about [b]him[/b], you have to do what’s right for [b]you[/b]. Best wishes.
