So it's a gothic cathedral, but also a tank.

I mean, it's a cool model. But what a wild concept. All those tiny details are going to be hell to paint.

For reference, it's the Warhammer 40,000 Immolator model. It's covered in flamethrowers to purge the heretics, I guess.

I do like the aesthetics of the Sisters. All those tiny candles on the shrine, or the fact that they love circling details instead of just straight lines and boxes must makes them quite a challenge to paint.

@FaeLuna Totally get that. Some models you can just slap a single color on 95% of the model and call it a day, but Sisters require a bit more. Yeah, it's a challenge, but satisfying to pull it off though.

I haven't played or painted in 20 years, but I've been wanting to get into building and painting again at least. Just need to get off my ass and get some brushes. Still have a mostly unassembled and unpainted megaforce pack from right before I stopped.

Sisters in general are a beautiful range. Almost everything is a cathedral and there is the Joan of Arc vibe. 😄

You focusing on Sisters or jumping between a few other factions too?

@PirateMonkeyCabinet I actually have a main army of Dark Eldar. The Sisters were a bonus that I got in a box set that happened to include them. These are the first I've collected of them.

@FaeLuna Ahh, I see. Dark Eldar are cool too. The pirate vibe of their vehicles in particular are awesome.

@PirateMonkeyCabinet Yup, that's what drew me in! I saw a Raider, went "that's Jabba the Hutt's sail barge," and was sold on the faction. Also, I kinda have a thing for elves, so that helped.
