I Am Not Into Politics

But... I do wonder what it says about this site that so many of them on here seem to be Trump supporters! Or maybe, hopefully, there aren't that many they just shout louder than the rest with their constant hashing and re-hashing libelous claims and gross exaggerations of the truth...

A friend of a friend on FB, and American, said that America maybe deserves Trump. I said no one deserves him.. I guess I was thinking that even tho I can't help but agree that if America are stupid enough to vote for him they deserve all they get, I would NOT want to inflict the resulting suffering on the nice, sane, intelligent Americans that i know exist. But hey ho let's see what happens

Clinton is a dishonest corrupt politician who will take any position to get elected.
Trump is a bloviating buffoon who donated Money to the Clintons in the past.

We are fucked.

... and a big differences is that Trump is immediately impeachable and convictable. Both the house and senate votes are probably already there. Hillary on the other hand, is surrounded by legions of loyalist eager to fall on the sword.

@Heartlander: care to explain that? Trump is not under investigation but suddenly is guilty of so much ... please tell us what he is guilty of ... other than insulting libs

@TexChik: As we learned with Bill Clinton and Richard Nixon, the impeachment of a president is a political process, not a criminal process.

Nixon resigned because he knew he couldn't survive an impeachment and senate trial. Bill Clinton survived his trial because there weren't enough senate votes to convict him.

Trump's support in the house and senate is pretty low, thus easily impeachable. Hillary on the other hand is a Democrat, and Democrats behave like a government within the government, and can be expected to fight tooth and nail to keep her in office when she commits her next high crime or misdemeanor.

@Heartlander: more wishful thinking. The corruption in congress is exactly why we are in trouble as a country. Clinton is already an unindicted felon ... her election would create a constitutional crisis. When laws only pertain to the people and not the government anarchy will ensue , violence will follow ... that's always how socialist governments end
