I Am Told That I Am Intimidating

A lot of people do. I'm 6'0/6'1 abd largr build and believe me, I scare most people. My best friend who is 5'1 flat out told me that she was terrified of me when we first met as children. I was big for my age. She wouldn't even go near me and she though I was going to be a bully. Wow that really hurt me. That was harsh. She was like, "Sorry but I'm jjust being honest. What did you want me to do, sugarcoat my feelings. I was scared of you and when I said hi to you, you sounded like a soldier. But at least we got to know each other and you're such a sweetheart. Best friends since the the age of 7."
I dont understand why people are so intimidated by me. I never got bullied or messed with so that's a plus. My mom said it's good that I'm this size. Nobody will mess with me and who wants to me small? No offence.
