I Like Fluffy Dressing Gowns

Mine is light blue. I get up at 4.30 and put on my knee high white socks I used to wear to school. You know the ones with hearts! Because they are warm. And my fluffy dressing gown. And my hankie in the pocket. It’s so cold my nose runs! And find my way to the kitchen in the dark! And switch the kettle on. And pick up the keys to the back door. And go to tne outbuildings where the boiler is and switch on the heating. By the time I get back the kettle is boiling and I pour water into the mug with my Assam tea bag! But it needs time to brew. So I walk the length of the house which is a long way and have a wee! And when I get back my tea is ready. I read a book while I drink it! And that’s how I wake up!
