I Am a Student

One of my assignments is perceptions of childhood, so at the risk of causing debates, what would you say if someone asked you:
1. What is a child
2. What is childhood?

All perceptions welcome as they will all be different depending on personal experiences and understandings. 馃榾

A child is someone you love unconditionally and forever, you try to protect them yet prepare them for life, hoping they will never know pain physical or emotional but being there to help them thru it, Using your own life experiences to make their road less bumpy. But still letting them take their own road and enjoy being a child, putting their needs before yours, always and forever.

Childhood...something you make sure a child has better than the one you had.

@Bushmanoz thank you for your input.
in that case, if its forever, in your opinion when does a person stop being a child?

@Skelepop666 To a dad, that's really hard to say. I see them as adults now, yet they will always be my children. It goes by in the blink of an eye, but I can still see them as the children they were.Im sure someone can articulate it better, especialy as its 2am and Im lucky yo be forming sentences at all. good luck with your assignment

@Bushmanoz oh wow. You articulated well especially at 2am and unprepared for such a conversation 馃槉
