I Am a Student

One of my assignments is perceptions of childhood, so at the risk of causing debates, what would you say if someone asked you:
1. What is a child
2. What is childhood?

All perceptions welcome as they will all be different depending on personal experiences and understandings. 馃榾

Okay now I have an answer. :) But first, I think you should read Beatrice Alemagna's "What is a Child?" From the details I've read, it looks informative and fun. I thought the question is difficult simply because the word definition itself means that it should apply to all children. Even the ages for consideration varies across countries from what I've researched so far. But I did find something that applies to all.

"A child is like a butterfly in the wind.
Some can fly higher than others,
But each one flies the best it can.
Why compare one against the other?
Each one is different.
Each one is special.
Each one is beautiful."

Credits to the writer. I don't really know who she/he is.

Yeah :) Well I enjoy research. It's like discovering mysteries and finding out what you need when you can't figure them out on your own. Have fun with your hw!
