I Love Stevie Wonder

Stevie Wonder's "Talking Book" (1972) remains one of the greatest records ever created. "Superstition" is the song everyone knows, but the whole album is a masterpiece.

Years before artists like Lenny Kravitz and Dave Grohl recorded music by playing every instrument, Stevie was doing it. He plays every single note you hear on this song, which moves me every time I hear it.

A number of his albums are masterpieces, in my opinion. This certainly is one of them.

This probably is my favorite song from Talking Book.

@Rutterman He went on a run in the 70's that remains unparalleled. He's extremely well known yet somehow seemingly underrated at the same time.
He was a genius!! That he played all the keys/notes on this song is simply incredible! 🙂
@SW-User Oh yeah, that's the trend of course.

I only asked coz I find that public figures coming out of the closet, and marrying their partners takes a lot of courage even in today's day and age. I admire Anderson Cooper for the same reason. Just my curious silly self that loves when two lovers are united against all odds....lol

@Vivaci I get it. My daughter came out a couple of years ago, and I obviously want nothing but happiness for her with whomever she falls in love with.
@SW-User aww....same here. I mean I wish my son is happily married someday.

Good album, but I think Innervisions is his masterpiece.
