When we were kids back in the 50s and 60s. The fall smells were of burning leaves which was allowed then. Now kids these days can't know of the fall smells
Here’s a fall picture in my world. Soon the combines will be rolling; the familiar sounds of harvest. This may look dreary but let me tell you a little story: after living in tropics of Africa (where the only rainy and dry seasons existed), I came back to Kansas during the fall harvest. I knew that snows would soon fall. The rhythms of the seasons I had grown up w/ was so comforting to me.
