Can't liberals and conservatives just agree on one single thing instead of berating each other?
I think working together is what would make America great again, but that's just my opinion.

Agreed. But it’s rare in US history that there has been a period of consensus. Maybe Post WWII to the 1980s.
It’s difficult because there tends to be demonization of the “other” and the belief that certain areas of the country are “more American” than others. This goes both ways to some extent but one side does it more consistently.

I wish I could, I lived thru Nixon Reagan the Bush thing, another entitled preppy Bush, and more. With those presidents I could expect some things I don’t agree with to go on for 8 years and not be turned against people, but this is not the same thing, totally not. I hope Trump is the first President to go to prison, even better would be execution. @helenS
