I Have Something to Say

Could it be possible that thong bikinis are becoming more accepted on beaches in the USA? I've only seen them on some beaches on the east cost of Florida. Never on the gulf beaches of Florida, Alabama or Mississippi. I recently saw several on a beach at Gulf Shores Alabama.

We can only hope.
But on a serious note a friend who works for a national department store told me the style of underwear women buy varies by state and even city. There are thong cities and there are “traditional” ones. It varies more than almost any other type of clothing.

@DownTheStreet I'd have to say the Gulf Coast is traditional, "bible belt" area but I don't know what the law is.

I've seen them on the gulf coast in Florida. There are a few more isolated beaches where they are quite common.

@CANDAULISTHUSBAND There is an area at Fort DeSoto Park near Tampa that is thong friendly. Look on a site called the "Thongboard" for more and other places.

@CANDAULISTHUSBAND They do list other places. I haven't been on for a long time but there are lists of beaches for just about every state.
