@hyg346 It's both. Hobart is the capital city of Tasmania, and Tasmania is a state of Australia. I just came across my photo's on the laptop and thought to post about my favourite place in the whole world :)

Yeah I know Virgin does Brisbane to Hobart, and also Sydney to Hobart. But if you're gonna pick me up you'll have to come to Melbourne.

If I remember correctly last time was direct Brisbane to Launceston.
Not sure about Brisbane to Hobart.
