I Hate Liars and Deceiving People

Have you ever been scammed online? I have to laugh because I can only imagine the replies I will get. Well me too. I have been lied to and scammed. I have little sympathy for those who get caught.

I have learned the hard way. Learn to listen. Liars will give themselves away every single time. It just takes time.

Listen to clues. Do they refuse to meet you? Does their story add up? do they say one thing then contradict themselves? Do they seem to like the drama they have created for themselves?

I am not just talking about romantic interests here. I am talking about friends lieing. I don't get that.

Recently, I let a friend go. I am not sure what made me madder, him lieing, using me or playing me...all because I tried to be a good friend.

i believe with all my heart that you get what you put out to the universe. Good or bad.

Yes, I have, but where I disagree is you get back what you put out to the universe.

Even yesterday, when I put much thought into birthday gifts and paying for an expensive birthday meal for a loved one, I didn't even get a thank you. It crushed me to be treated with such indifference. This is the story of my life. I seem to be surrounded by cold hearts.

I withdraw from people more and more because over 60-years of living, it seems destiny only wants to surround me with the cold hearted and indifferent. I stiffen my spine and become even more of an island and stoic. My warm heart must be covered for its own protection.
