First week of Covid schoolyear

It has been much less chaotic than I expected. Teachers are quite overwhelmed by workload and all the covid procedures we had to learn in almost no time, but not afraid. Students are acting in a quite responsible way, assuming masks, disinfection and social distancing are a need in this time.

Common sense is what matters in the end, and common sense would be more prevalent if authorities would trust more people's self-preservation instincts and would not stifle us with lots of unnecessary regulations and prohibitions. Just set a few basic, clear rules, and give people some credit. Treat us like adults if you want us to behave like adults.

The first week is alway perfect. They first three weeks is almost perfects you need to wait a month before student feel comfortable being themselves in front of their new teachers.

But you’re right about self preservation in general. But the situation does not affect young in same way as old.

@Mindful I know things will be less perfect as weeks pass.
